One of my all time favorite – if not my absolute favorite – werewolf stories is Maggie Stiefvater’s Wolves of Mercy Falls series: Shiver, Linger and Forever. Stiefvater has created some very believable characters who happen to turn into wolves when the temperature drops. This series could make an amazing movie. I always picture Logan Lerman as Sam and would love to see Brendan Fraser as Beck.
This is one you really need to listen to as well. In the first, the reader for Sam doesn’t quite work for me – he sounds too old. In the second and third he is replaced with a younger reader that is perfect. Linger and Forever also have an amazing reader for Cole.
